Human Library

I had the pleasure of experiencing an activity called the human library today in college where we were divided into groups and asked to introduce ourselves and talk about things that we would want others to know about. It made me realise that people, just like books, give you tons of things to think about and vicariously experience new adventures and things if only you make the effort of sitting through a few chapters, after which you automatically decide you’d like to finish the book. Although this activity, could only be considered a brief introduction to people’s life, what people choose to talk about themselves during this time, tells you a lot about the kind of people they are and what they value as individuals.
